The boat tour to Eqi glacier with Ilulissat Escape takes approximately 6 hours from Ilulissat city.
 
Eqi glacier is one of the most active in Greenland and is located 80 km north of Ilulissat in the north-eastern part of Disko Bay. On this boat tour you are going to meet a lot of icebergs on the way and there is a chance to meet whales if you are lucky. The captain will stop on the way if he sees some whales and give you a chance to take some pictures. On arrival to the front of the glacier the captain will find a safe area and you will be able to enjoy the silence with a view to magnificent glaciers. And take some pictures. Here we will serve a sandwich, coffee and tea. Please notice that we will keep the windows closed on the way. And the windows will be opened after arrival to the front of the glacier. Please also notice that it can be cold when the windows are open. After arrival to the destination Throughout 2 hours you will be able to listen to the most beautiful sound, silence.
